As you might have guessed, I am Mexican and a lover of delicious food. I am a Dietitian specialising in a Personalised Nutrition approach with the 6 pillars of Lifestyle Medicine at the core of my support.
Food is a strong part of my heritage, it’s an important part of my identity and has shaped the path I have chosen to take in life.
As a Dietitian, I understand how overwhelming it can feel when trying to make healthy, informed food choices, so a big part of my job is providing clear evidence based guidance on making the right food choices — with added spice wherever I can!

We all know and have heard the saying that “Food is Medicine” from Hippocrates (The Father of Medicine). I will help you choose the best food available to you and will guide you towards how to incorporate more whole, plant – based foods that are rich in fibre and nutrient dense. I will help you appreciate the nourishment that food can bring to your life.
We have all felt the world on our shoulders and the impact that not dealing with it can have on our health, relationships and work.
A little bit of stress can lead to improved health and productivity, but too much of it, and you will go down the rabbit hole with consequences such as depression, obesity, immune dysfunction and more. It is important to recognise our negative stress responses, identify coping mechanisms and also learn techniques to reduce our stress and increase our resilience capacity that will all lead to improved wellbeing.
Through regular and consistent physical activity, I will guide you towards finding the best form of movement to help you achieve your goals.
It’s very well documented the dangers of any addictive substance. Even the name itself sounds scary. In a non-judgemental and empathic manner, I will help you build positive behaviours and increase awareness of the impact that perhaps tobacco and alcohol are having on your life, and address it.
The quality and quantity of our sleep can lead to a strained immune system and have a domino effect on our health. It also affects appetite and satiety regulation, and your ability to manage stress. I will help identify the dietary, environmental and coping behaviours to improve sleep health.
As humans it’s in our nature to want human connection and it is also essential to our emotional resiliency. Communities around the globe in the Blue Zones, have proved the importance of social connectedness. Studies have shown that isolation is associated with increased mortality, and considering how you relate to others may improve your overall health and wellbeing.
